Welcome! I am a research associate in the Center for Avian Population Studies at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. As an applied quantitative ecologist for the Center's Conservation Science program, my research focuses on the development and application of advanced modeling frameworks to inform decision-making and conservation. More specifically, I use citizen science data and a variety of statistical and machine learning techniques to understand spatiotemporal patterns of avian biodiversity and community structure. I then work in close collaboration with local decision-makers, practitioners, and stakeholders to inform conservation and sustainability initiatives at relevant spatial and temporal scales. Check out my Current Research page to learn more!

On a more personal note, I am a first-generation college graduate that is passionate about breaking down real and perceived barriers to higher education. Learn more about me outside of my research here!
