*UPDATE: I will be starting as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Natural Resources and the Environment at Cornell University in August 2025! I am in the process of updating this website and posting information about open positions in my lab, so please stay tuned!
Welcome! I am a Research Associate in the Center for Avian Population Studies at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. As an applied quantitative ecologist for the Center's Conservation Science program, my research focuses on the development and application of cutting-edge methodologies to inform decision-making. To do this, I leveraging advanced statistical and machine learning methodologies alongside diverse ecological, environmental, and socioeconomic datasets to quantify the status, trends, drivers, and benefits of biodiversity across spatiotemporal scales and levels of biological organization. I work closely with government agencies, research institutes, NGOs, and the private sector to inform conservation and sustainability initiatives around the world. I am also a first-generation college graduate that is passionate about breaking down real and perceived barriers to higher education and science. Learn more about me outside of my research here! |
